The following outlines the phases of the Campaign:
Phase 1:
Remodeling the kitchen and upgrading the electrical service so that the weekly meals on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening can be accommodated with ease and the goal of adding a weekly community meal can be met. ($100,000)
Phase 2:
Upgrading the heating and ventilation systems in the original building and the education unit to eliminate moisture problems in the dining hall and preschool area and to provide air conditioned comfort for summer worship in the sanctuary and summer meetings and classes in the education unit. The sanctuary would also be equipped with new lighting and a fire alarm system. ($169,498)
Phase 3:
Building an addition onto the southeast corner of the original building to 1) expand the gathering area at the sanctuary level to enhance fellowship for visitors and members, 2) add bathrooms, a meeting room, and storage areas on the lower level to replace the out-dated bathrooms at the east end of the dining hall with larger storage areas, and 3) add several offices at the balcony level to free up the current offices to be used for Sunday morning youth classes and weekday adult small groups or much needed storage. The roofing on the original building would also be replaced during this phase. ($1,370,574)
Phase 4:
Purchasing the gym portion of the old middle school (eliminating the connection to the older portion of the school) and adding a new insulated exterior so that the gym can be used for 1) Upward Basketball and other sports ministry programs to reach the children, youth, and adults of Bloomer, 2) contemporary worship to reach those uncomfortable in a traditional church setting, and 3) productions by church and community groups requiring a larger seating capacity. ($546,000)
Phase 5:
Remodeling the former classroom areas to the south of the gym to be used for preschool/ daycare during the week and then as a preschool/childcare area on Sundays. There would also be upgrades to the main gym roof, electrical system, lighting, and the heating, ventilation, and cooling system. ($1,100,000)
