St. John's Lutheran Church is a community of people united to God and to each other by faith in Jesus Christ, called by the Holy Spirit to bear witness to the love of God and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our love of witness, proclamation, nurture, service, and outreach at home and abroad will occur through faithful use of the scriptures, the sacraments, and prayer. We are motivated by our gratitude to God for his abundant gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation.
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)
St. John's Lutheran Church is a proud member of the ELCA. We practice open table communion, which means all baptized Christians are welcome to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. St. John's is also part of the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin, where we have a budding relationship with our companion synod in Malawi, Africa.
Current Church Goals (2017-18)
- Increase discipleship practices among our entire church family.
- Build the ministry to and around our high school youth.
- Broaden our ministry to people outside of the US.
St. John's Motto
